Much Prayer Needed…
Today, let’s make a decision to pray for our country every day.
Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.
Father, we pray for our country. Lord nothing that is happening all around our world is new under the sun. You know and see it all. Today, we join our prayers and our faith and cry out for mercy. For our children and grandchildren’s sake oh God, we petition you to shine your light in the land that is growing darker every day.
Today, we ask you Lord to touch the hearts of presidents, leaders, rulers, and government officials. Lord draw them to the truth of your Word we pray.
Lord, visit our country in power and in might we plea. Amen
