So Obama leaves Israel out in the cold! The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that senior US and Arab officials have quietly acknowledged “an effective state of détente” between Washington and the Islamic State of Iran and the two governments confront the rise of the Islamic State terror militia and related crises in the region. The warming ties come despite the ongoing crisis over Iran’s renegade nuclear program and support for terrorism in the Middle East which is of ongoing concern to Israel and Washington’s Arab allies. The Journal report added an observation that the change in orientation has also led Obama Administration officials to take a softer tone in relation to anti-Israel terror militias such as Hamas and Hezbollah.Read More
