As I am writing this news story I am listening to a KOB TV newscaster go nuts over Gary King. They interviewed him on their morning newscast at 6:20am. The media treats political races like a sporting event. It is not a great day in New Mexico when Gary King can get the nomination from the Democratic Party for Governor. The man is against life, he supports abortion. He did not defend the sanctity of marriage in New Mexico. He has failed in many areas as Attorney General. When I see a man win an election like King, I sometimes wonder if I am just out of touch with this world, but then I remember that I stand on Biblical principals. Governor Susana Martinez also failed to support life when she would not stand up and support the proposed ban on late term abortion in Albuquerque, which failed. What would have happened if the Governor would have been bold and supported that effort? The Governor also failed to stand in the gap and fight for the sanctity of marriage. “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30
So in New Mexico, it’s King versus Martinez for Governor. Who will stand for God? Who will stand in the gap for God here in New Mexico, Who will declare the Word of God?
