Up Rules –How to survive in this world through Jesus, By Karen Rowe August 14, 2014

Word UP for Today is “I AM” –Knowing who you are!

I believe that this world needs something more than they can see –but can’t find the salt shaker!

Word UP?

Life begins with God –knowing who HE is in the fullness of the trinity; and knowing who you are on that vine!

Word UP?

The world is noisy!  Can I suggest 4 basic respect rules as we begin to look into the Word of God?  Quieten your mind:

Word UP?

Sit UP, Look Up, Hands Up and Zip Up; and now we are prepared to learn from God in order to listen to His thoughts and not our own …

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ!  I pray that you are having a good day and if not a good day, then I pray that you know the grace to get through your day well!  With all the troubles in the world, I am not without troubles, but I do know how to rise up above my troubles and so I am blessed by grace to share the good news in Jesus, who is the Christ.

Would you like to hear a story?  I have a million testimonies I could share, but anymore I really just strive to share the power of Jesus that brought me through my struggles!  This is the same power that I give my testimonies to –the same power of God that can elevate you –JESUS!

Jesus is the man; and Jesus is the Christ!  Jesus is the Word!  ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).  Jesus is the Word of God whom is sent to the world –Jesus teaches us how to follow the written word; if only we will believe to trust and obey!

Perhaps, I can just share the revelations that God has given to me? The Word of God that constantly and continues to rescue me from my ignorance (my lack of knowledge to know what to do that becomes my knowledge, understanding and Wisdom from God)!

Perhaps I can share my testimony to the power in Jesus who has rescued us; and to the love of God –whom in all His Wisdom has given us His Word to use in a world bent on envy and selfish ambition –the kind that leads to destruction!

Word UP:  “I AM” Construction or Destruction is the basic choice –one or the other is going to be the result; depending on the hope and foundation we choose to stand on!

The Word of God is called The Sword of the Spirit for a reason!

Speak your hope:  Word UP:  “I am” Construction or Destruction?

The Word of God (from the mouth of God set on Jesus) will rescue us from all things!

Word UP:  “I am” NOT frustration!  “I am” NOT anger!  I am NOT fear!  “I am” NOT turmoil! “I am” NOT defeated!  “I am” a blessed child of God!  Frustration, anger, fear and turmoil may come AT me, but I will not allow anything not of God to enter in me, because “I am” one of the children of God; and God loves “me”!

So, how do you survive pain in this world –from the loss of a loved one?

Word UP?  “I am” and learn more and more of who God is!

Sit UP, Look Up, Hands Up and Zip Up; and now we are prepared to learn from God in order to listen to His thoughts and not our own …

Frustration, anger, fear, turmoil and confusion will come at a child of God like a fiery dart, but that is not who we are!

Word UP: “I am” a child of God!  Resist those darts that will feed on heavy emotions and selfish ambition!  Remember who you are; and whom God is and resist defeat, because of who you are to God!

I can give my testimonies to the power of God –I am not without trials and loss!  I can testify to God’s Love in His faithful Word –God’s Word that is a gift to you and to me!  I can share my stories, but today I will simply share in the way that the good Lord delivered His Word to me.  I pray this is also a blessing to you –that peace and joy is found in your entire being; that this brings hope and strength to your mind, heart, body and soul!

Let us begin with the Lord’s Prayer!  Will you say this prayer with me?  I encourage you to say this prayer in your spoken word that begins in your mind –but when you really believe, this powerful word of God sinks deep into a believer’s heart to be the most powerful prayer in this world!  Our Rescue prayer that is for all that we will ever need in this world!!!

Word up:  because of “I AM”

Matthew 6:9-13King James Version (KJV)

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done (in/on) earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Okay, check this out!

In the Lord’s Prayer, we learn that WE NEED TO PRAY FOR OUR DAILY BREAD –which is JESUS & Every Word that comes from the Mouth of God!  We need to pray for discernment in the Christ and in Word of God to know God’s truth, God’s way and God’s life that He has for us!

Because Word UP:  “I am” a child of God and God is God!

God’s Word brings change –a new life, beautiful blessings of peace and joy; and protection in the fiery furnace of troubles!  God’s Word brings understanding and with good purpose!

Yet, Satan knows the word too!  Don’t forget that Lucifer was created by God –now renamed as Satan!  Be careful not to entertain Satan’s manipulated and twisted word that does not come from the mouth of God, but rather from the evil one who twists God’s word to create doubt!

Do you doubt in God’s character and existence!  Do you doubt in the Son of God as the Christ?

Doubt is on purpose too!  Doubt leads to a person’s disobedience; and doubt fights against God.

Faith leads to obedience walking with God!

As you begin searching who you are to God, begin with knowledge of who the Bread of Life is!  Know God’s Voice!!!  Know the Peace that comes from the Mouth of God to distinguish / discern the will of God for you and your life!!!

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

John 6:35King James Version (KJV)

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Up rule #1 “Be still and know that God is God” –RESPECT God; and know this:  God is “I AM;” Jesus is “I AM;” and KNOW who does Jesus make you …………………………………………

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am (insert your name here) fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

You are (Insert your name, “I am”) wonderfully made!!!  “I am” first and foremost fearfully made to respect my Creator who loves me!  “I am” immensely and incredibly valuable to God!

Do you believe God loves you?  Speak the Word again and again and the Spirit of God alive in you through Jesus will convince you of God’s love for you!!!  You must speak the Word of God to your self –no one else will do!  No one cares for you like God and Jesus!!!

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Exodus 3:14King James Version (KJV)

14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

John 15:1&5 King James Version (KJV)

Jesus is, I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

We are the branches of the true vine!

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Word UP for the Day is “I AM”!

When temptation comes to you in the form of fear, anger, frustration, confusion / doubt –Remember to go to the Word of God and pray!  Remember that man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God!!!  Resist with the Word of God and the devil will flee from you!

Submit to …Word UP:  “I am” God

Follow … Word UP:  “I am” Jesus

Be the child … Word UP:  “I am” a child of God because I choose to believe in Jesus and God is my Father!

Resist … Word up:  “I am” Satan wanted to be God –and did become God’s enemy!  Do not be deceived!  The enemy knows God’s word!  Shouldn’t we too –to Resist the other “I am” Satan!

Do not be fooled, know who the enemy is too …

John 8:44Amplified Bible (AMP)

44 You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.

I hope this is a blessing to you!

Love in Christ,

The Word of God for Today!  I pray this is a blessing to you!

John 15 King James Version (KJV)

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Karen Rowe
Meet Karen: Hi, I am blessed, by God's good grace and because I know Jesus, I am blessed. I choose to be blessed, because I have a choice set before me and I refuse to look down. I trust God and I know and believe in the love God has for us. I have overcome difficulties; and I am blessed by the grace of God alone. If I have written about it, then I have felt the pain of it in some way, and to some degree. Did you know that Jesus has felt your pain? This is why I write. By God's grace I can identify; and tell you honestly, yes there is hope in anything and everything that you are facing today! Jesus is our Hope! He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. I am married a wonderful man, Robert Rowe; I love my husband and he loves me; and we have been married for 28 years. Together, we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, named Amanda who is college now; and a wonderful son, named Daniel who is growing up well and soon to graduate elementary school. We work together and by God's grace we run our own business called PSI. We have a pastor over our ministry and over our business and also we depend on him for advise in our family. We have 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats and love to spend time outdoors by the water and by campfires ... that is it seems when we can find time away from life's busy schedule. I love to write because it helps me learn more about God. And, I am driven by a passion from a love that God has put in my heart to share from my experiences and struggles, as I gain understanding in God’s Word to know how effective and powerful God is over our every situation! I share with you so you can know that you are not alone in your struggles. The same God who helps me and my family, is your help and shield as well! Life is not always easy, but it is possible –I like to share the difference that following Jesus makes in my life. And, I love to share God's patience and mercy and love that is with me! I am not perfect, but am experiencing God sanctify me through and through with every mistake I make; and yes, overcome in Christ! Life is not just about the successes; life on this earth is also about the troubles we overcome to discover what God has hidden in our faith to find! Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me! I need Jesus –and my life is about my relationship with God. And, every blessing begins with Him! Love in Christ, Karen Rowe, Director Hope in Today Ministries, Inc.
