March 25, 2013. You received a new heart and a new spirit. Moreover, I put my Spirit in you, enabling you to do what I command. You are not who you once were. All things have changed. I have given you a fresh start with no history for you since the exchange of hearts took place and you received the Spirit. There is nothing from your past to hold you back. Your future is as bright as the noon day sun. I have plans to bless you and not to hinder you in any way.

Thank you all for your prayers for Pastor Steve Freeman of Crestview Baptist Church. I talked to him yesterday and he is to undergo more tests today to see what the problem is, but we are believing Steve is healed! AMEN! As of last night the Doctor’s did not think it was a heart attack.
Please also pray for Robin White as her health is not improving. We are believing in healing also for Robin.

The greatest commandment is to love God by keeping His commandments. Matthew 22:36-38 says, “‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.'”
You ask, “How important is obedience to God?” In the gospel of John, obedience to God is underscored time and time again. John 14:15 says, “If you love me, you will obey what I command.”

A week or so ago I had to take my wonderful and precious wife Sandy who suffers from extreme fybromyalga and copd to the emergency room in the middle of the night as she wasn't getting enough oxygen and was actually turning blue by the time I got her there... They diagnosed her with a copd 'flair up' and treated her in addition to giving her some antibiotics and steroids to come home with... Several days later her condition worsened again and it was discovered she at this point had developed pneumonia, (which is extremely dangerous for her in her condition), and again was returned home with more steroids and antibiotics... At this point I asked my 'THREE' pastors Marty Cooper, Paulette Cooper and Dewey Moede; (Yep - I got three of 'em!!!); for a special prayer and Pastor Dewey also asked for your prayers through his daily blog "The Cup"... YOUR PRAYERS HAVE WORKED MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS... While she is still recovering, in less than two days the LORD has seen to it that she is now much more comfortable, sleeping well, breathing well and generally doing much much better !!! Her amazing rate of recovery is unbelievable and if it continues at this rate she'll probably be back in our church this Sunday and back to work sometime next week... THANK YOU ALL !!! rick stambaugh

I have to say one of my favorite verses in the Bible is John 18:38 where Jesus says, "you are right in saying I am a King. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth
listens to me.

By answering the true call of God on your life you will know!
I happen to know that many are not in their true calling by the Lord, many Christians are not.
They have not matured in our Lord. AMEN!
I have to say I feel a tremendous sense of Godly connection with all of you here at the CUP! and www.fggam.org! Thank you LORD! God is using the CUP and FGGAM to bring His people together!

Word of His Power
We are called to be a people who live in and manifest the power of God’s Word.
How do we do this? By proclaiming the Word of His Power. You mean, the power of His Word? No, the Word of His Power!
Listen to this scripture: Heb 1:1-4 “God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the Word of His Power . When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. Heb 2:1-4 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.”
Remember that scripture says signs and wonders will follow after those who preach the Word. In other words, declare the Word of His Power and the power of His Word will accompany you.
The Word of His Power means to preach the Truth, Revelation, and understanding of the knowledge of Who is the Word and that will make it powerful. The Word of His Power manifests in the power of His word. Jesus confronted Satan with these words, “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.” That explanation thwarted Satan’s attempts to tempt the Lord.
The word of Faith, revealed as the word of Faith’s power, brings forth the power of that word in salvation, deliverance, healing, prosperity, wholeness. Declare the revelation of Shalom and it produces the power to be transformed…to walk in that revelation.
