Hi Dewey=E2=80=A6I=E2=80=99ve really b=
een reflecting on a past Dewey=E2=80=99s Cup and using the word =E2=80=9Clu=
ck=E2=80=9D.  I, too, do not believe in =E2=80=9Cluck=E2=80=9D and und=
erstand the derivative of the word.  The Lord really spoke to me and p=
ut on my heart to use the term =E2=80=9CGood Blessings=E2=80=9D instead of =
=E2=80=9CGood Luck=E2=80=9D=E2=80=A6that=E2=80=99s what I aspire to do=E2=
=80=A6give Him glory!  The simplest things can make a huge difference=
=E2=80=A6Love to you, Sharon, and your doggies. Leslie Mouser

Leslie also said this, Your on God’=
s timeline not your own! AMEN!

Before I go into today’s lesson I learned y=
esterday from my friend Franz Boelter of the passing of
John Michalau,he had been fighting an ill=
ness for 4 years,,,,,,,,,,,My
friend Franz  who grew up just up the road from me in W=
indom on River Road posted this about John…….

We lost one of the best men I know o=
n Sunday morning. John Michelau died after struggling with illness over the=
past four years. Please pray for his wife Kathy and daughters Sophie and A=
bbey. His funeral is Thursday night, March 7, at 7:00 at Wooddale Church in=
Eden Prairie with visitation an hour before the service. The church addres=
s is 6630 Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie. Albin Chapel in Eden Prairie is d=
oing the arrangements. Memorials can be given to the family, Bethany Academ=
y, or Timber Bay. We’re going to miss you a ton, great friend, but I’m so g=
lad that you are now with the Lord and free of your pain and frustrations. =
God bless you, John! You influenced my life and others so much

=
I know most of you did not know John, but he is
exactly=
what we need more of! A fruit Tree..=
…….a HUGE fruit tree for the Kingdom…….here is just one of the lett=
ers
written in memory of =
John who was such a Godly man, husband, father, teacher and coach.

I feel=
lucky to have had such a kind, caring, funny and fun-loving teacher, coach=
, and friend through my high school years. He was for me a model of God fea=
ring manliness
during
 an imp=
ressionable time of life. I remember his infectious laugh like it was yeste=
rday. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Jon Marty,
Edina, Minnesota

There was no luck in the life of John,=
his life was led by the Lord….it was the work of the Lord in his life, b=
ecause John turned his life over to our Father. John carried with him the f=
avor of God and blessed many in his life, let it be said the same of us!&nb=
sp;

Mark Twain said live your =
life so that at your
funeral even the undertaker =
will cry! We write our own obituary in the way we live our life!

Men like John fear God, Men and Women who fear God have nothing to hide! Those of us who f=
ear God do not want to be away from God. Living with God involves no fear, =
in fact fear is sin. We all at times get a bit fearful or sometimes fear co=
mes into us very strongly because we are tired, wore down and spiritual&nbs=
p;warfare occurs. But we have God with us.

In these day’s it is AWESOME to read the =
testimony’s about the life of people like John Michelau, what an example fo=
r us all!

For all my Windom friends I will have a d=
evotional column in the Citizen www.windomnews.c=
om this week about being a Fruit Tree for the Kingdom.

I am thankful for all the comments about =
yesterday’s CUP and getting word that the CUP is forwarded by man=
y of you to help bring others into the Kingdom! It’s just absolutely a=
mazing what is happening with the Ministry of FGGAM! We thank God for what =
HE is doing through FGGAM!

It’s truly amazing, a Spiritual high=
when you get to the the point in your life where it’s all about GOD! Nothi=
ng but GOD and HIS ways!

Paul Dokken said=

yesterday’s CUP reminded him of what Isaia=
h 65:1 says…………..

” I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was=
found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my na=
me, I said, “here am I, here am I.”

What God showed =
me yesterday through my talk with Paul and reading Isaiah 65:1 and through =
the phone call’s of others yesterday is that many of you forwarding the CUP=
to others that do not have a close personal relationship with our Lord you=
are
proclaiming the Word of God as in Isai=
ah 65:1. PRAISE GOD!

Wha=
t does it mean to be lucky?

=
The dictionary describes luck as random, when things happen by chance. Thin=
gs do seem to happen by chance sometimes…
=
The race is not to the swift or the battle to the s=
trong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favour =
to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
Ecclesiastes 9:11

=
An athlete can fall during a race, an investor can loose their money when a=
business fails, a friend can be diagnosed with cancer, while a criminal ma=
y escape without being punished.
=
Equally, good things can happen; people fall in love, cures for diseases ar=
e discovered, a job application is successful =E2=80=93 but is it all reall=
y just luck? Or, is God really in control?
=
Good luck
=
God doesn=E2=80=99t promise us good luck, in fact the word luck is never me=
ntioned in the Bible. There are no random or chance happenings with God in =
control. God has a purpose for this world and there is no event in our live=
s that is not in some way a part of that plan.
=
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace=
, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Isaiah 45:7

And we know t=
hat in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have be=
en called according to his purpose. =

=

Romans 8:28-29

=
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding =
the evil and the good.
Proverbs 15:3

=
The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decisio=
n is from the LORD.
Proverbs 16:33
=
Perhaps instead of wishing our friends “good luck” it would be much better =
to say “God bless you

=
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make H=
is face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn His face towar=
ds you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26

=
Success
=
When we wish someone “good luck” don=E2=80=99t we really mean that we wish =
them success, happiness, good health, happy families, contentment and other=
good things?
=
That may not seem like a bad thing at all, but it is so easy to let money b=
e the top priority in our lives=E2=80=A6

=
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we w=
ill go to this, or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and mak=
e money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your=
life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. In=
stead you ought to say, “If it is the Lord=E2=80=99s will, we will live and=
do this or that.”
James 4:13

=
We are surrounded by pressure to achieve success, to work harder, earn more=
money, buy a bigger house, a newer car=E2=80=A6

But godlin=
ess with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, =
and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we wil=
l be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation an=
d a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into rui=
n and destruction.
1 Timothy 6:9

=
God wants us to trust in Him, not in money;

=

=
Whoever trusts in his riches will fall but the righteous will t=
hrive like a green leaf.
Proverbs 11:28

The LORD m=
akes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor fr=
om the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princ=
es and make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth =
are the Lord’s, and He has set the world upon them. He will guard the feet =
of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength =
no man shall prevail.
1 Samuel 2:7-9

=
If we trust in God and try to follow His ways =E2=80=A6

God will meet all your needs according to hi=
s glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

who is able to do immeasurabl=
y more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work w=
ithin us=E2=80=A6
   Ephesians 3:20

God=E2=80=99s word, the Bible, teaches us His way to fin=
d happiness.

Do not let this Book of the L=
aw (Bible) depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that yo=
u may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperou=
s and successful wherever you go.
Joshua 1:8

Gambling
You may know of people who have lost their homes or thei=
r fortunes or their families by gambling, Gambling seems to offer a way to =
get money quickly and easily but the Bible offers good advice;

Dishonest money dwi=
ndles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.
Proverbs 13:1=
1

The love of money i=
s a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered =
from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:10

A faithful man will=
be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. =
Proverbs 28:=
20

Starting over
Jesus told a parable about a rich young man who gambled =
away all his inheritance and everything that he had. He was so desperate th=
at he found a job feeding pigs and so hungry that he would eat some of the =
pigs food. You can read about it in Luke 15:11-32.
The young man was afraid to go back to his father=E2=80=
=99s house but when he did he was welcomed with open arms. God is like the =
young man=E2=80=99s father, He=E2=80=99s waiting for us to get our prioriti=
es right, and willing to forgive us our mistakes if we repent.

Before I get to the final story of of the day………..=
…here are a couple of pictures for you…….first one is son Lars took t=
his picture  waiting for the train in Chicago late yesterday afternoon=
as the blizzard moved in…….and then a FUNNY BONE!

106-YEAR-OLD MASS. MAN GETS HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

You are here

BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) =E2=80=94=
Fred Butler was married for 65 years, raised five children, served in the =
Army during World War II and worked for years for the local water departmen=
t, but the fact he never earned a high school diploma always bothered him.

Not anymore.
The 106-year-old was awarded =
his honorary diploma Monday during an emotional ceremony attended by school=
officials, state lawmakers and Beverly Mayor Bill Scanlon.
“I thank everybody who is res=
ponsible for this,” he said, wearing a mortar board hat and tassel and hold=
ing the prized document in his hands. “I certainly appreciate it.”
Butler dropped out of school =
before the ninth-grade to accept a full-time job at a print shop to support=
his mother and five younger siblings.
Daughter-in-law Cathy Butler =
says he regretted dropping out and always emphasized the importance of educ=
ation to his children and grandchildren.
A grandson, Mike Calabro, sai=
d Butler gave him $5 for every A on his report card.
Cathy Butler launched the eff=
ort to get her father-in-law his diploma as a way to raise his spirits foll=
owing the death of his wife, Ruth, last year.
Fred Butler’s only concern wa=
s that he hadn’t earned it.
Scanlon put that concern to r=
est. “It’s a long time to wait for your diploma,” Scanlon said, “but you’ve=
obviously earned it very well.”
