UPDATE AT 7PM Santa Fe City Council votes in favor of Same-Sex marriage Resolution 5 voting yes, 2 Abstentions, 1 no vote
Chambers were full, about 140 people attended, Fire Dept. had to say no more people can come in.

I have a problem with Politicians who abstain from voting, should only be if they have a conflict of interest.
Councilor Wurzburger votes yes saying painful truth gays in America not equal under the law and that is wrong, she states as she votes yes.

The Santa Fe New Mexican is reporting that tonight’s City Council meeting on same-sex marriage is packed with opposers and supporters and that the Fire Dept. will not let anyone else in.
