Soon IS Important –By Karen Rowe

Soon means before Long –Soon does NOT mean later or never!

Jesus cared enough to be angry and He loved enough to warn us, all the while assuring us that great is the love of God that He has for us –you and me!

This should stir your soul & inspire you to seek God’s will for you in your life daily to understand God’s Word enough to discern God’s pleasures and His angers in your personal walk with Jesus …

OR, if you have not made that first step of believing you do have a desperate need for the forgiveness of God, maybe this will inspire you to seek God’s will for you to come to Him? It is God’s good will for you to live with Him –in a personal relationship with Him through JESUS Christ, God’s Son!

Our days are numbered by God who is All-Knowing! My brother puts it so well, “It is about the “Vertical and the Horizontal.” We cannot exceed the “vertical days” on this earth –that are numbered and determined by God, but we can vary our horizontal position with God during that vertical climb!

Life is good, but death is a gloomy subject to most –and it used to be to me too!! Death used to be something I dreaded facing and feared in this life! That is until God revealed to me His love in SUCH a powerful and supernatural way that my attitude and mind-set changed in an instant to KNOW that I could trust God, who is in charge of my life; and in charge of all life!

I find great comfort and security in knowing that God has my life –not only the life I live, but also God has the life of my family and friends –not just on our good days, but His mercy and goodness follows us all the days of our life –and then God still has us in our eternal life, because of our faith in Jesus!

I also find great comfort and peace in knowing that God, the Father is over all life! He will guide our every move being unlimited to His power in our circumstances. I may not always understand, but I trust that God knows the details of everything He is doing; and in everything He is allowing us to pass through for a time –this is where we need obedience and trust the most!

I find great comfort and security in knowing that God has your life! Believe in and don’t allow the temptation to fear “a lack of control” hinder your trust in God! Keep your faith at the forefront –always placing your every hope in God’s love & way!

I find great peace knowing that God knows our every heart, his plans he has for me and also for you –that God has built me, watches over me and steers me back on track when I wander from his purpose! I find great comfort in knowing that God knows every detail in my life –and also in yours!

But God still gives us a choice to obey!

Trust and Obey has grown to a mature understanding in me –so much so that when my dad died recently, I knew he simply transcended to a life more than I can fully comprehend!

God amazed me in His presence more powerfully than I have ever experienced –all I could experience was LIFE and JOY! I, by the power of God alone, supernaturally experienced my dad’s new location and it was GOOD!

I find great comfort and security in knowing that God has my life, because I believe with a knowledge that understands the truth enough to place my faith in His Son Jesus!

Because I have taken time to get to know who God is –I have learned that I love God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit – a love that has enabled me to love me; and a love that has enabled my love for people –including you!

Because I love like Jesus loves in the pureness of my heart, I have such a close relationship with God in my life. So much so, that I sense anger sometimes when I see people hurt themselves because they simply do not know the harm in what they are doing –and this hurts God too –I sense it!

So –We cannot exceed the “vertical days” on this earth –that are numbered and determined by God, but we can vary our horizontal position with God during that vertical climb, by accepting (or denying) our personal responsibility to seek God on a higher level –enough to know His will and make that change day to day –as we are called to grow into a maturity in Christ; not just grow up!

The world teaches blame, but God teaches FREEDOM in the Truth, respect for the Truth and Responsibility to be true in the Truth.

Imagine a line drawn vertical from earth to Up in Heaven!

• God is on that straight and narrow!
• We can stray to the right and to the left, but God can’t and Jesus didn’t.
• Jesus reaches for and will hold our hand all along the way –but we have the gift / opportunity / free will to choose to take God’s hand!
• Follow Jesus and stay in step with the Spirit of God –peace!
• Experience the joy of the Lord, who is our strength!

Imagine a line drawn between the “truth” and a “lie”

• Imagine seeing the truth on one side –pure and non-bending or changing (facts) & imagine seeing the lie on the other side of that line as black and white with no variations –either one or the other (the truth or the lie).
• God’s Word implores us to seek the truth and get understanding!

Do Not Boast About Tomorrow

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;

¹⁴ whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

What is your life –if it is a life separated from God, “who is life!”?

 

Come to Jesus all you who are weary and burdened, and God will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).  Life has purpose in this life on earth, with a choice to live as it is in Heaven! That purpose is our JOB [opportunity and privledge], which is the action of Love [Love & trust God. Love & trust Jesus. Love others, while loving and trusting God]!

All the while –remembering:

• God is the judge of the heart
• It is the Holy Spirit doing the work
• Our job is to stay in step with the Spirit, remain in peace as far as it depends on me and love like Jesus loves us!

Sometimes God corrects us, but All times He is patient and kind to us! May we reflect Jesus in our every word and seek to learn what is pleasing in God’s eyes and ears –because He is watching over us and never lets us out of His sight!

IF you have not made that first step of believing you do have a desperate need for the forgiveness of God, I invite to meet my King Jesus Today –Simply by …

• Confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and
• Believing in your heart that Jesus Is the Christ, the Son of the living God whose life and blood was sacrificed for the complete atonement of all sin –including yours! Just believe and trust that God did this act for you because God is love and love come down from heaven to save you from the penalty of sin that has entered into this world! Jesus gave us a choice when we had none …
• And simply inviting Jesus to live in your heart –opening your heart to learn the way of God and inviting a change of mind into your life –for God to live and be actively living in your life …

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 NLT).

• Then you WILL be saved from the wrath of God who hates evil and has warned us to consider the fearful danger an unrepentant sinner is in!

God cares too much to ignore the harm we are doing to ourselves and to one another!

Indeed, God cares enough and loves enough –Greater is He who lives in me than he that is in the world; & always remember this:

• The JOY of the Lord is our strength –we can learn how to remain (in step with the Spirit) (joyful) always!

God did not promise life for tomorrow to decide; God promised life to the full Today; and life forever with him in heaven if we will just believe God’s own Testimony about His Son!  …

…and … There is an eternal difference between living for tomorrow and living for eternity.

An excerpt from “The Train Whistle” that the Lord placed on my heart to share Today:  “What does soon mean to you?”

• Soon means any minute now; before long; coming down the pike; directly; fast, in a while, second, or short time; due time; instantly; on time; quickly; and speedily. However, soon does not mean later or never.
• More than not eventually, soon means before long. We do not need to know the time or the day, however; we simply need to be ready for Jesus today. There is a greater reward of being ready in your today. Following God’s righteousness in his Son, Jesus, we find God is with us each and every day, today and forevermore, when we accept the hope that he has given for us.

Have you thought much about who Jesus is to you? God has, and he has also sent you his Word to know his Son, as well as warn you of those things that are dangerous to your soul. God does do signs and wonders, but remember that signs and wonders from God follow righteousness in Jesus. It is not the other way around. Be certain in your truth.

At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch! At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Let’s choose to obey God; and whatever I do, as far as it depends on me, whether in word or deed, I choose to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Colossians 3:17).  I choose to let the peace of Christ rule in my heart, since I know I am called to peace.

Scriptures teaches:

If I speak, I should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If I serve, I should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen (1Peter 4:11).

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give me the same attitude of mind toward others that Christ Jesus had for me (Romans 15:5).

We are equipped in Jesus Christ to live free in the Truth of God’s grace, by the power of the Holy Spirit –if we will only choose to succeed to God’s divine plan and let go of our self and let God do His miraculous work! God is pure love and Jesus is our peace and Wisdom to guide us along our path in the way of Jesus Christ –by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Praise God for reminding me each day of all He does in my life each and every day!  I truly believe God is Sounding His Call of Love for you … as much as He is for me!
