Dear Family of Our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thanks for coming by for a CUP!

I just love this: The Bible tells us what the Lord Himself remembers——and what He chooses not to remember. “He remembers that we are dust” Psalm 103:14; and to those who are repentant He says, “Their sin I will remember no more” Jeremiah 31:34

AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

Sharon could not be there because she worked late last night at the Hospital. FGGAM wants to thank Jerry Chavez of the Kingdom Awards for letting us take part. We had a booth at the event and were able to introduce FGGAM to many new folks. We also met a lot of old friends! This was the 2nd. Annual Kingdom Awards designed to lift UP the Kingdom of God! To recognise those individuals and Ministries that are making a difference in our state. It was AWESOME to see many gather to shine the light of Jesus so brightly!

It has been a very busy time here at FGGAM. We worked late last night and early this morning we posted many news and inspirational storites at www.fggam.org Then  came the news at about 10am that 3 more Boston bombing suspects are under arrest.

Also go to www.fggam.org and find a National day of Prayer event near you tomarrow.

Let me share with you a note I got from Grace this morning………..

Dewey…We’ve been notified that our good friend Nixon Low passed away this morning.

Very sad.  I wish I’d heard earlier that he was ill.  I would have liked to see him when I was in Tucson just a few weeks ago.

Well, at least he’s not suffering now.  May God hold Nixon in His tender hands and make a place for our friend at His table.

God bless.

Dewey, thank you, as always for your kindness and generosity.  Thanks also to the generous followers of your Daily Cup for their kind and fervent prayer. God is in charge and we will trust.

Love you, Dewey.  Love and blessings to your family.

Grace Cordova-Kalberer

We are praying for the family Grace and rejoicing for Nixon in his new home in Heaven!

One of the reasons the Lord had us form FGGAM is for the Sanctity of life, I will fight for that each day of my remaining days here on earth. One of our miracle Babies is Baby Eden. Look at that girl! Remember how we prayed for her? Oh yes! PRAISE GOD for healing!

Good Morning,

Want to share a picture of Eden, our miracle baby. She is eight months old and
thriving. God is so good.

Blessings,

Jeanell

I just love this Devotional piece that Darlene Quiring sent in..It’s from the former baseball player turned Evangelist Billy Sunday. Billy was an outstanding ballplayer in the Major’s in the 1880’s and then became one of the most important Evangelist’s in our history. This is just so solid, give me that old time religion!

How to Make a Success of the Christian Life
by Evangelist Billy Sunday
Now that you are a child of God your growth depends upon yourself.
It is impossible for you to become a useful Christian unless you are willing to do the things which are absolutely essential to your spiritual growth. To this end the following suggestions will be found to be of vital importance:
1. STUDY THE BIBLE: Set aside at least fifteen minutes a day for Bible Study. Let God talk to you fifteen minutes a day through His Word. Talk to God fifteen minutes a day in prayer. Talk for God fifteen minutes a day.
“As new-born babes desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby.” – I Peter 2:2.
The word of God is food for the soul.
Commit to memory one verse of Scripture each day. Join a Bible class. (Psa. 119:11)
2. PRAY MUCH: Praying is talking to God. Talk to Him about everything — your perplexities, joys, sorrows, sins, mistakes, friends, enemies.
“Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Phil 4:6.
3. WIN SOMEONE FOR CHRIST: For spiritual growth you need not only food (Bible study) but exercise. Work for Christ. The only work Christ ever set for Christians is to win others.
“Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15.
“When I say unto the wicked, thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” – Ezek. 3:18.
4. SHUN EVIL COMPANIONS: Avoid bad people, bad books, bad thoughts. Read the First Psalm.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness, and what communion hath light with darkness – what part hath he that believeth with an infidel – wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord.” – II Corinthians 6:14-17.
Try to win the wicked for God, but do not choose them for your companions.
5. JOIN SOME CHURCH: Be faithful in your attendance at the Sabbath and mid-week services.
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.” – Heb. 10:25.
Co-operate with your pastor. God has appointed the pastor to be a shepherd over the church and you should give him due reverence and seek to assist him in his plans for the welfare of the church.
6. GIVE TO THE SUPPORT OF THE LORD’S WORK: Give as the Lord hath prospered you. – I Cor. 16:2.
“Give not grudgingly or of necessity, fo God loveth a cheerful giver.” – I Cor. 9:7.
7. DO NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED: Expect temptations, discouragement and persecution; the Christian life is warfare. “Yea and all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” – II Tim. 3:12.
The eternal God is thy refuge. We have the promises that all things, even strange and hard unaccountable obstacles, work together for our good. Many of God’s brightest saints were once as weak as you are, passed through dark tunnels and the hottest fire, and yet their lives were enriched by their experiences, and the world made better because of their having lived in it.
Read often the following passages of Scripture: Romans 8:18; James 1:12; I Corinthians 10:13.

May 1, 2013. You have unexpected expectancy. You know something is up but have no clue what it is. Your expectancy has developed into excitement. Do not worry about timing. The Father is in charge of what happens and when. The beginning and end are in his mind and hands at all times. Jesus gave gifts but the Father makes appointments. He is setting in place and commissioning those He has chosen for this season. These will be front and center in the end-times. Would you volunteer and surrender to His perfect will?
Acts 1:7-8 (NASB) “He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”  Ras Robinson
May 1, 2013. There is something you want… want it badly. You believe it is in keeping with a word you received from Me. But you see both sides…reasons why what you want would be good and also reasons another choice would be good. In reality you don’t know what is best. Now the main thing for you is to want what I want. This is what you need to pray. Keep praying and keep your mind on Me working this out. Precious, you can trust Me. I always want the best for all.
James 4:15-16 (ESV) “Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.”  Bev Robinson

May 1, 2013. Let gentleness be an earmark of how you move about each day. You live in a world that is becoming calloused and hardened more and more rapidly than you could imagine. When the world looks at you, do they see a rough and toughened individual or do they sense the presence of a tender-hearted and gentle soul? Check your heart and your motives of how you live and move. Grace upon grace has been extended to you time and time again. Embody Me with a compassionate heart of gentleness toward others.
1 Corinthians 4:21 (NKJV) “What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?”  Kevin Robinson
