Pastor Saeed spends 33rd Birthday in Solitary Confinement

(Washington, DC)  —  More than 50-thousand people have sent letters to American Christian Pastor Saeed Abedini, a U.S. citizen, imprisoned in Iran because of his faith.  The American Center for Law and Justice says the letters of prayer, support, and encouragement arrived as Pastor Saeed spent his 33rd birthday in solitary confinement.  One of the letters contained an emotional statement from Saeed’s wife, Naghmeh, who wrote, quote, “… I promise to stand strong in the strength of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ fighting with every strength of my being until you are united to our family again.”
