Dear family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
This is such an AWESOME Devo from RBC Ministries!
READ: 1 Chronicles 25:1-8
Chenaniah, leader of the Levites, was instructor in charge of the music, because he was skillful. —1 Chronicles 15:22
When Jason was asked to sing at a church he was visiting, he was delighted to participate even though he wasn’t asked until a few minutes before the service started. He chose a familiar hymn, “To God Be the Glory,” because it was a song that was especially meaningful to him. He practiced it a few times in the church basement and sang it without accompaniment in the church service.
Several weeks later, Jason learned that some people in the church didn’t appreciate his ministry. They thought he was showing off. Because they did not know him, they wrongly assumed that he was singing to impress them, not to honor the Lord.
From the Old Testament we learn that God appointed people with skill to be involved in temple worship. From construction workers to worship leaders—people were chosen based on their skill (1 Chron. 15:22; 25:1,7).
The Lord gave each of us different talents and spiritual gifts to be used for His glory (Col. 3:23-24). When we serve with that purpose, not to lift up ourselves, we don’t need to be concerned with what others think. God gave His very best to us—His Son Jesus—and we honor Him by giving our best to Him. —Julie Ackerman Link
The Master needs what you have to offer,
No matter if you think it’s small;
His work on earth is done through His children,
So give Him your best, give your all. —Hess
No matter if you think it’s small;
His work on earth is done through His children,
So give Him your best, give your all. —Hess
We are at our best when we serve God from our hearts.
What an excellent Devotional! Amen!
Yes my friends, it’s all about God!
My life verse as many as you know is: My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24

Stay in the favor of God………..stay in it………..I was told yesterday by a Pastor of a large Church that I am a mentor for him……that I am a Godly example for him……..I was telling him the same thing! I bring this up because it is easy for us to be swung to the left or right as praise comes in from man…….but we take it as Godly encouragement, words spoken to us by Godly people that we are on the right road…….we are so thankful for encouraging words, we all need them, but they need to be sincere.
Kind words are like honey——–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24
I was encouraged much this past weekend by the words and actions of others toward me.
I want to stress it is easy for man to go out of God’s favor because his ego grows. Ego stands for Edging God Out!
Stay in it……slow down………do not get ahead of God. Let the Glory of God shine through you……..THE FIRST THING PEOPLE SHOULD SAY OF YOU WHEN THEY SEE YOU IS: THERE IS A MAN OR WOMEN OF GOD.
Now I want to encourage you to click on the links below………www.fggam.org is growing…….FGGAM is a Church without walls, as Board member Kay Hendrickson stated months ago……..we are nearing 20,000 visitors to the site since Feb 1. That is a taste of Jesus for 20,000 people. We have the blessing of sharing Jesus Christ with all those folks. What God has shown me is give them a taste of ME……..wet their appetite for My Glory! The Lord has also shown me that people move fast….they want information fast, they read fast and go onto the next web site or whatever……You all know that….so we present FGGAM in that way……..I want to encourage you all that the only Bible that some may see is YOU! That is how we approach FGGAM, when people go to the site, it may be their first and only time to a Christian site. Thank you for your prayers and support!

Let us pray over this prayer letter from Rick…………..
My Brother Dewey, Yet another special request my brother... After suffering a recent bout of pneumonia from which my precious wife Sandy is still recovering and still learning to deal with my situation with a sudden diagnosis of stage 4 cancer we received word of the hospitalization of her dear friend & supervisor at her work, Yvette Ponce... Yvette was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital last week where it was discovered she had some sort of infection in her brain... Presbyterian moved her to the ICU at UNMH where spinal meningitis was diagnosed... Yvette is a very dear friend of Sandy's and we ask for all to pray for a speedy recovery for her... I was able to take Sandy to UNMH this morning where she was able to visit Yvette for a very short period and reports from her family indicate her condition is better than when she first got there, but there is still an extreme amount of healing and recovery to be done... Sandy reports she was able to get Yvette to recognize her and was even able to get a small chuckle out of her even though she couldn't even open her eyes... Please pray for healing over Sandy's dear friend... God Bless you Brother !!! rick
We are praying for healing over all of you beautiful people of God! AMEN!
