We mourn over the shooting death of this little angel, Sunni, We pray for the family and those that killed her, as bullets were shot at the car she was riding in. We pray that the killers will be brought to justice. New Mexico is near the top in our nation in violent crime. We pray for our land to be healed, let us seek the face of our Lord and ask for forgiveness of our sins, let us pray for His healing rains over New Mexico, we ask all this in the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Albuquerque police have arrested two suspects believed to be connected to a shooting that left an 8-year-old New Mexico girl dead.
Sunnie Rae Reza, 8, would’ve celebrated her 9th birthday on Sunday. She was shot in the head after several men attacked a car she was riding in with her father, uncle and another man.
Overnight police arrested David Candelaria Jr., 23, in connection with the shooting.
David Candelaria Sr., the suspected shooter, was arrested after a long SWAT situations near Don Felipe and Isleta Boulevard on Sunday. Candelaria, 44, is the man wearing sunglasses in a series of surveillance pictures taken shortly after the shooting that were released yesterday by police.
Candelaria Jr. is standing next to the man in the surveillance photos. He is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Candelaria Jr. is facing conspiracy to commit 2nd degree murder and tampering with evidence charges. He has not faced a judge at this time, according to court records.

The young girl killed by a bullet to the head in Albuquerque on Friday would’ve have been 9-years-old tomorrow.
Sunni Rae Reza, 8, was killed when a group of men shot several bullets at a car where she was a passenger near Gonzales Road and Coors Boulevard. She would’ve celebrated her 9th birthday on Sunday, Albuquerque police said.
Her father, uncle and another man were also in the car. No one else was hurt and it’s unclear the motive for the shooting.
After the shooting, the driver took Reza and her father to a nearby fire station. As the driver left, an ambulance arrived to take the girl to the hospital and the father stayed behind to be interviewed by police.
Reza died at the hospital.
Albuquerque police are searching for three to four men who were dressed in all black at the time of the attack.
Surveillance video was released that shows one possible suspect. No arrests have been made.
