Pilgrims and faith-focused travelers from around the world will arrive in Israel for the annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration, September 18-28, 2013.
Hosted and organized by the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, the Feast of Tabernacles celebration is one of the largest tourism events in the country, and will feature organized visits to Christian holy sites across Israel, including Jerusalem, the River Jordan and the Galilee. The event will also include the annual Jerusalem March, in which thousands of locals and visitors walk in the footsteps of Jesus in the Old City of Jerusalem.
“The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the most important and spiritual events for Christians arriving in the Holy Land,” said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America. “We hope the upcoming holiday will inspire a new wave of travelers to visit Israel this year.”
The Feast of Tabernacles celebration will also feature seminars and lectures on various religious topics.
