The village of Cloudcroft, New Mexico has declared a water emergency. Officials say that the springs and wells supplying Cloudcroft’s water are running low because of the drought. Officials have been bringing water in from nearby Alamogordo. There is a concern that the water supply could be wiped out with the influx of visitors for the July 4th weekend, another reason why the emergency was declared. Rains have been falling all over the state the past week, PRAISE GOD! We must continue to pray for more of God’s healing rains to come to New Mexico to heal our land of this drought.
