A Wisconsin health clinic will no longer sell abortions after being purchased by another group. Robert DeMott has announced that he will work for the new owner, Bellin Health, but will not provide abortions. That means there are now no abortion providers in Green Bay.
Pro-lifers have gathered outside the Medical Arts Building for 30 years protesting the abortions taking place inside. Jill Quinlan, whose daughter has spina bifida, was one of those outside the clinic celebrating the news. She said this particular battle may be won, but the war is far from over.
“This is something so much bigger than Green Bay,” she told NBC26, “this is something that we want to see stopped across the whole world.”
