PRAISE GOD! We have been praying for Nathan! The South Bend, Indiana Tribune is reporting, Nathan Woessner, the 6-year-old boy rescued when a hole in a Michigan City, Indiana sand dune collapsed, was discharged from the hospital yesterday.
That was the announcement Wednesday afternoon from an official at University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital. They say he will continue his rehab elsewhere.
The accident happened at Mount Baldy in Michigan City on July 12, trapping the Sterling, Illinois boy beneath 11 feet of sand.
Rescuers were able to pull him out alive almost four hours later.
Doctors are working to remove sand from his lungs, but remarkably, he is not expected to suffer any long-term damage
Let us give Praise and Thanks to our Lord! Miracles still happen today!
