Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Yesterday I had the blessing of visiting the Food Pantry at Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood. It is good for the soul to go to a food pantry, hospital, nursing home, a veterans home to serve now and then….it helps bring things into perspective.

I get inspired every time I visit Valley View, the light of Jesus shines so at Valley View! It is a congregation that goes outside the walls of their Church to serve their community….in intangible and tangible ways. A strong body of Christ. Valley View is a role model for us all.
What also encourages me so much, is that there are many Churches in this great Country, doing the same.
Valley View and many like it, are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
That is what we are to be, me and you!

July 26, 2013. You’ve doubted at times I’m interested in things you do. You’ve thought I have more important things to do. I care for you and I want you to know in the depth of your being how much I love you. I also want you to know how much I care about even the smallest events in which you are involved. Do things that bring you pleasure and at the same time bring Me glory. Some things you think are not spiritual enough are often things I deem spiritual.
