August 23, 2013. It can be said of you that you are “true blue.” You are what you say you are and you do what you say. You are not a bells and whistles person. People love you because when they see and hear you, they and see Jesus. You are so humble you cannot believe people actually love you. But they do, in a dimension not known to or by many. From this point on in your life, you will have warfare and various skirmishes but in the end you will gloriously prevail.

They talk a good line, but they don’t live it. They don’t take it into their hearts and live it out in their behavior. It’s all spit-and-polish veneer.” Ras Robinson
Today I ask you for prayer for my family. Gretchen was bit in the face by her dog Barley late last night and has wounds to the face and mouth, much blood loss and trauma. Barley is a sweet dog, don’t know why..Gretchen was kissing him on his paw while he was chewing on a treat. Please pray for Gretchen her heart is broken. Please pray for my whole family, my extended family is being attacked like many other families. In the last few weeks we lost Tiffany Caraway, Darry Hanson has brain cancer and there are other attacks going on. Tiffany and Darry are from my Mother’s side. Darry and I grew up together in Windom, we are the same age.
I am getting many reports of families being attacked. Let us pray for each other and our families.
Written by Kristen Duff Young: Today, 4 years ago, I found out my dad had died, he was later revived through prayer of his doctor but died later the next day…… I didn’t have much of a relationship with my dad, I was angry with him most of my life, for leaving me and my family, for some of the choices he made, for not being there…. but in 2011, God had me write a book about my dad, about his death and life…. So much healing was involved in writing that book…. Now that he is gone, some strange feeling in me misses him, what do I miss? I don’t even know… maybe the thought or hope of a father… maybe I miss the dad I had when I was just a little girl, the times we would go to breakfast really early in the morning by ourselves or the times he would take me to his office and I would write him notes and photocopy things for him… I miss the dad before life and work took over. I never cried when I found out he had died, I never cried at the funeral… But today four years later… I finally cried. Why do I share my heart with all of facebook? We all of hurts or wounds from our past …. don’t let it paralyze your life, let God come in and heal those and like me, you somehow look past the pain and see that there was some good…. Parents, love your children, spend time with your children, don’t let life and circumstances take you away from them. They are only little for a short time….. but they remember for a lifetime….
I weep and pray for those under attacked, I weep and for my daughter as her face was hurt badly.
I came down with the flu yesterday, please pray for me. I have much work to do.
