One of the most sought after stories we have done here at FGGAM is the story on Carmen and his health. We now have an update. After 12 years out of the industry, Christian music veteran Carmen got a career boost from an unlikely source, after Carmen went public with his cancer diagnosis, fans donated more than $300,000 for an online campaign to support a new CD, video, and concert tour planned for next spring. Carmen is optimistic that he’ll still be around by then saying, “If God speaks to the people and the people put up the money, and they say make music and minister, to me that means I’m going to be alive in a year.”
