THOUSANDS OF CHRISTIANS FROM AROUND THE WORLD GATHER IN THE HOLY LAND FOR “ISRAEL IS FOREVER” CONCERT

| New York – September 17, 2013: Thousands of Christians from around the world recently gathered in the Holy Land for the first-ever “Israel is Forever” concert along the shores of the Sea of Galilee.An initiative of California-based Christian satellite channel God TV, the massive concert kicked-off a 10-day tour of the Holy Land and featured musical performances by Kim Clement, The Arrows (South Africa) and a special set by all-youth band from Shalva, a Jerusalem-based organization for children with special needs.
The God TV tour also featured a concert by Christian rock and worship band Planetshakers (Australia), and included visits to important Christian holy sites in Israel, from the Sea of Galilee, River Jordan and Gospel Trail in the north to Caesarea, the Old City of Jerusalem, Masada and Dead Sea in the south.
“The recent God TV concert in the Sea Galilee is a prime example of the unprecedented sites and attractions in the Holy Land available for church leaders and Christian groups to hold special events,” said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America. “We invite Christians from around the world to visit the Holy Land this year to see firsthand where the scripture comes to life.”
This week, Christians from around the world will arrive in Israel for the annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration, September 18-28, 2013.
