The weather has settled down a bit in New Mexico this morning. The Westside of Albuquerque was hit hard by torrential rains and strong winds for much of the night. The storm resulted in high water in spots and a power outage that effected about 1,300 PNM customers that lasted most of the late night hours, power seems to be restored to most here at 7am.

The FGGAM office is located on the Westside of Albuquerque.

Governor Martinez surveyed damaged areas from flooding yesterday. She was in the T or C  and Las Vegas areas.

The Governor is releasing money, $750,000 to start rebuilding roads with more coming.
