Boy Scout Leaders in trouble after toppling Jurassic-era rock formation

What were they thinking? Very puzzling story: Two Utah Boy Scout leaders are in big trouble after they filmed themselves toppling a Jurassic-era rock formation at Utah’s surreal Goblin Valley State Park.

In the video, the men claimed they were destroying the formation so the boulder wouldn’t fall on top of a small child, a defense that the state of Utah is unmoved by: the two may face felony charges, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
