Dan McKay of the Albuquerque Journal is reporting this morning that 83 year old Delores Huerta, who with Cesar Chavez, co-founded United Farm Workers was in the Duke City yesterday to speak out against the proposed ban on late term abortions. She called it “an assault on the rights of women”. Nothing was mentioned as far as I know about abortion be an assault on God! I was just on with Dan Rosecrans of KDAZ AM730 and he replied to Huerta’s comments with this, “An assault on women? How about the assault on children and unborn women?” Right on bro! Huerta has 11 children, was born in Dawson, New Mexico and now lives in Bakersfield, California. On November 19th an election will be held in Albuquerque on the late term abortion ban, let us pray for passage. The assault on this proposed ban will increase as we get closer to November 19th.
