It is said that those who think happiness is found only in the sunshine have never allowed themselves to dance in the rain…. Oh how very true…. As children we would spin and twirl and splash in the rain while laughing and dancing. Free…. Happy…. Uninhibited…. Somewhere along the journey into becoming adults we have lost that ability. Sad. When we were a child we allowed ourselves to feel the rain. Now we simply feel nothing, we merely just get wet. It is my wish for myself and for those reading this that we would find that childlike side of us again. The curious side that explored and imagined and created and wondered. The side that didn’t worry about our hair getting wet or the amount of time it would take to wash the mud from our clothes. We simply just dance. Freely. Uninhibited. Joyfully. Through every storm and every trial. Waiting for the storm to pass and the sun to shine again means we are missing out on the opportunity to experience a joy that can only be found inside the journey. Let’s dance.
