Emergency Funds Still Needed for Bohol Earthquake Victims
We have been blessed beyond words by the response to the needs of earthquake victims in the Philippines. There is still much to do in the weeks ahead. If you have not sent a gift, please consider doing so.
The wife of one of our FCM pastors told us she thought she and her children would die that morning as they were trapped underground for a time. The trauma of it is still fresh, but she has been busy caring for many people. Their house is badly damaged and not livable, but people came from all around the city, including sponsored children and their families. They have been sleeping in the yard of the pastor’s damaged home, some in tents and some under tarps. Last Sunday the church was packed and many people accepted Jesus as Savior. The same thing happened in at least one other church we know about.
We told you earlier of the pastor who lost his home and his church. He sent his family to another town where they would

be safer and he stayed to help his church members including the sponsored children and their families. He is living under a tarp.
All of our pastors have been working long hard hours ministering and taking food, water and other necessities to places that suffered much damage. Thank you for the ministry many of you made possible. The 300 sponsored children and 10 pastors and their families are more grateful than words can express.
Earlier this month we helped typhoon victims then earthquake victims only a couple of weeks later. The needs of earthquake victims in the weeks ahead will be tremendous as they recover from the devastation. We need your financial support.
Pray for the people in the areas affected by this disaster.
That the churches will become places of refuge and healing.
That many will turn to God and be saved.
That God will provide for His children everything they need.
That our Loving God will be a comfort to those who have lost family members and friends.
That the injured will quickly recover.
That restoration will come for all that has been lost.
That our Loving Father will comfort the fearful.
We know some of you who are sponsors are concerned about the children you sponsor. As things settle down, we will get a report about each child and how he/she was affected. If your sponsored child is in this area and was affected by the earthquake, we will update you as we have more information.
The need is urgent! The money in our “disaster relief fund” was depleted by these two events. While donations have come in the last few days, we know in the weeks ahead the recovery will require much. Also, we cannot forget the 800 sponsored children and their brothers and sisters at Christmas. We need your financial support and your prayers.
The fastest way to get money to those who need it is to send it online. Send it securely by going to our website at the “Donate Online” link below.
If you prefer to send a check, make it to “FCM” and send it to Fullness in Christ Ministries, PO Box 136117, Fort Worth, TX 76136. Enclose a note that it is for earthquake victims.
Thank you for your prayers and for your support for ministry to the people of the Philippines. We cannot do it without you.
