To start off let’s have a FUNNY BONE from Darlene Quiring! A good ‘ol Minnesota joke!

Ole’s Farm

Government surveyors came to Ole’s farm in the fall and asked if they could do some surveying. Ole agreed, and Lena even served them a nice meal at noon time.

The next spring, the two surveyors stopped by and told Ole, “Because you were so kind to us, we wanted to give you this bad news in person instead of by letter.”

Ole replied, “What’s the bad news?”

The surveyors stated, “Well, after our work here, we discovered your farm is not in Minnesota but is actually in Wisconsin!”

Ole looked at Lea and said, “That’s the best news I have heard in a long time. I just told Lena this morning that I don’t think I can take another winter in Minnesota.”

LOL!

This is AWESOME………….
When the time comes, as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I’ve often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God — and a terror will rip your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there’ll be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world — and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, ‘Spare him, because he loved us!'”

Congressman Henry Hyde

Helen Adams Keller 1880-1968 was a famous American author and lecturer who overcame the tremendous obstacles of being both blind and deaf. She wrote several books.
Helen Keller wrote this:
Just as all things upon earth represent and image forth all the realities of another world, so the Bible is one mighty representative of the whole spiritual life of humanity.
I thank God for my handicaps, for, through them, I have found myself, my work, and my God.
Four things to learn in life:
To think clearly without hurry or confusion;
To love everybody sincerely;
To act in everything with the highest motives;
To trust God unhesitatingly.
AWESOME words from Helen Adams Keller. There is a great bunch of writings like from Keller in William J. Federer’s book, America’s God and Country!
The words………..To act in the highest motives……….right there is where American Society got itself in this mess……..not having good motives.
Thinking clearly without hurry or confusion……..Does society allows us to think anymore? hardly…….the world would have you not think clearly! Our Society moves so fast now…….it is built for confusion……My friend Shauna Rampley of Soaring Eagle Institute told me  there is so much confusion and bad energy moving around our world today. It is easy to get sucked into it. That is why we need to be in the Word, Pray and Listen…Listen for the Holy Spirit to guide you…..to give you the answers. Do not allow yourself to become part of the Worldly confusion and anger out there! It does not know God.
What Love means to a 4-8 year old (and some baby boomers) :0)
Slow down for three minutes to read this. It is so worth it. Touching words from the mouth of babes. A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, ‘What does love mean?’The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore.So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love.’
Rebecca- age 8
————————————————————————————————————————————————
‘When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.’
Billy – age 4
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
‘Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.’
Karl – age 5————————————————————

Chrissy – age 6————————————————————
‘Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.’

Mark – age 6————————————————————
‘You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.’
Jessica – age 8————————————————————
And the final one — Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.
The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s
yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
‘Nothing, I just helped him cry’————————————————————
When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is all you need. Heavenly Father, please bless all my friends in whatever it is that You know they may be needing this day! And may their life be full of Your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with You. Amen.
This Sunday, God has given me the mission of preaching and teaching on the Body of Christ at the baptist Church in Reserve, NM and how important it is to stick together! Here is some of the sermon notes and study material I am working on. I thought I would share it with you so you could read it over and be blessed and maybe even share it!

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you  is a separate and necessary part of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT)

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Apostle Paul revealed the mystery of God that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Through the cross Jesus created one body of believers out of two, the Jews and Gentiles. Jesus broke the walls of hostility and brought peace to all. Paul laid the doctrine of predestination, redemption, universal church, and adoption in the first three chapters 1-3. In chapters 4-6 Paul gives us some practical applications of those doctrines. Today’s theme is “keep the unity in the body of Christ.” In the first part Paul teaches us how to walk in the unity of the body of Christ. In the second part he teaches us how to use God’s grace to build up the body of Christ until the whole church becomes mature. Let’s build the body of Christ using our diverse God-given gifts so that we may attain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. I pray that we may grow in Christ by keeping the unity of the Spirit. May God bless us to be connected to Christ, the Head of the church!
One reason why you need to be connected to a church family  is to fulfill your calling to serve other believers in practical ways. The  Bible says, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a  separate and necessary part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT).
Your service is desperately needed in the Body of Christ —  just ask any local church. Each of us has a role to play, and every role is  important. There is no small service to God; it all matters.
Likewise, there are no insignificant ministries in the  church. Some are visible and some are behind the scenes, but all are valuable.  Small or hidden ministries often make the biggest difference. In my home, the  most important light is not the large chandelier in our dining room but the  little night-light that keeps me from stubbing my toe when I get up at night.  There is no correlation between size and significance. Every ministry matters,  because we are all dependent on each other to function.
What happens when one part of your body fails to function?  You get sick. The rest of your body suffers. Imagine if your liver decided to  start living for itself: “I’m tired! I don’t want to serve the body anymore! I  want a year off just to be fed. I’ve got to do what’s best for me! Let some  other part take over.”
What would happen? Your body would die. Today, thousands of  local churches are dying because of Christians who are unwilling to serve. They  sit on the sidelines as spectators, and the Body suffers.
God calls you to a service far beyond anything you could  ever imagine. He created you for a  life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for you to do (Ephesians  2:10). Whenever you serve others in any way, you are actually serving God.
Talk About It
How are you serving the Body of Christ through your church?
Have you ever taken a “break” from serving? How do you think  it affected your church?
