From Sheriff Dan Houston: Deputy Robin
Hopkins went in for a sixth Surgery last night. I have received word from Kyle Hartsock President of the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Assoc. that it appears all went well. Deputy Hopkins obviously continues to be in a lot of pain but has been moved out of Intensive care. Visitation is restricted to family and designated visitors only. The trust set up by the Village of Los Ranchos is up and running and info about that can be accessed at www.losranchosnm.gov I want to personally thank all of you for your prayers and support for Deputy Hopkins as well as the injured APD officers. I’m confident that they as well as our respective departments share in our gratitude for your support and prayers !!!
I am in Arizona and a patient of Julie Kennedy for a broken knee. She told me of your injury and her concern for you. I am keeping up with your condition on the internet. I hope you heal and are back protecting your town soon. All my best wishes for a fast and full recovery.
