Woofs and waggles . . . Kramer here to announce it is a sun-shiny day around New Mexico! My mom took a BEE-U-TEE-FULL photo of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico for me on her way home from church today. I’d love to take my own photos, but seeing as I can’t go to church (may have to talk to Mom’s shepherd, Pastor Shawn to change that) and that I don’t have opposable thumbs I’m kinda outta luck when it comes to taking purty pictures. Anyway, the weather is a reason to rejoice in my neighborhood today:
I’m originally from California (long story), but even as a pup I don’t remember skies there being as purty as they are here. Don’t get me wrong, Calie is nice, but New Mexico skies would make ME purr if I was a kitty.
New Mexico weather looks nice today (Sunday) through tomorrow, Veteran’s Day, but has changes in ready to settle in Tuesday and beyond in most sections of the state. The weather is wintery up around the Great Lakes today (SNOWY in places) and looks unsettled all around the more eastern parts of the country, cooler with possibility if rain.
Be in prayer for those who have recently experienced (and are still in the path of) that massive typhoon, Haiyan. The Philippines is still assessing damage and loss of life as they wade through areas hit hard :(
If you are in an area with wonderful weather, don’t forget to give thanks the Man Upstairs! Every day is a gift from God, whether you are having a BEE-U-TEE-FULL day or storms are raging physically or spiritually, God is there.
Remember these words from Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made: Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” I know it isn’t easy when storms are raging, but that’s what faith is all about . . . remembering things like that on the days it isn’t so EZ.
Woof and out! Kramer reporting from the purty land of the Hill Toppers!!
