President Obama Asks Netanyahu To “Take A Breather”

US President Barak Obama reportedly called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week and asked him to “take a breather” from publicly criticizing the recent agreement between Iran and the P5+1 nuclear powers (US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany.) The call also resulted in an invitation for Israel’s senior national security leadership to come to Washington to discuss the next step in the process. However, Iran’s Arab neighbors are also voicing their intense unease about the deal, highlighted by Bahrain’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah al-Khalifa who asked the P5+1 states this week to “clarify to the leaders and people of the region that the agreement that has been reached serves to achieve regional security stability (and that it) “would not be at the expense of the security of any member of the (Gulf Cooperation) Council.” Read More    Obama and Net Israel
