The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Seyassah reported on Wednesday that Iran and Syria have continued smuggling weapons to the Lebanese Shi’ite terror militia Hezbollah through Iraq, in order to avoid attacks on weapons convoys by the IDF. A Shi’ite Iraqi official quoted in the report added that “the Iranian regime receives intelligence on any intention to search planes that arrive in Baghdad on their way to Beirut.” Meanwhile, an attempt by the Obama Administration to enter into negotiations with Islamist forces fighting in Syria has been rebuffed.
