To follow up on our initial reports concerning the missing truck in Mexico which had hazardous radioactive material in it’s cargo, it appears all the material has been accounted for and recovered.
The material which was removed from it’s protective cannister was found in an empty lot about a half mile from Hueypoxtla, a town of approximately 4,000 people. The material does not appear to have presented a hazard to local residents but anyone involved in opening the container could be in grave danger of death within days from the radiation exposure.
