If your interested in purchasing the twelve items in the twelve days of Christmas this year it appears it may be a little more costly!
According to a recent study, the cost of all the 12 days worth of items has been hit by inflation. As compared to last year, this years total cost has increased from $25,431.99 to $27,393.00, a $1,961.01 jump, or a 7% increase.
While six of the items remained unchanged, the most costly increase occurred for the nine ladies dancing. Per performance, their cost went from $6,294.00 to $7,553.00, a $1,259.00 increase.
Pear trees however, seem to be in abundance this year. The tree itself will cost you $184.00 this year as compared to $189.99, a $5.99 decrease.
The price of the Partridge in the tree remained the same.
I tried to contact each of the nine ladies concerning their dramatic cost increase and left messages for them all but at the time of this posting, I have not received any responses.
