| Thank you for giving so generously to provide Christmas for the children. Jesus said when we give to the least, we give to Him. What better way is there to honor Jesus on His birthday than to bless the children?
December 25, 2013. O glorious day. Christ is born. The One who was promised as Savior was born unto us on this day many years ago. We celebrate His birth and His forgiveness of our sins. He alone is Lord and Master. He was sent by the Father, exalted to the Father and the world by the Holy Spirit and He lives today. Many longed for Him. He came, lived on earth, was crucified for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven and waits to return again and take all who are His unto Himself. Celebrate His birth in your own way by showing His love.

All of these sponsored children received a gift for Christmas, but the most exciting thing for them was the bag of food they were taking home. Each one received a bag with rice, noodles and sardines for Christmas dinner. It was the best Christmas dinner they ever had. Thank you for making it possible. The gifts and food brought lots of smiles for hundreds of very poor families in the Philippines.
How You Can Help the Children: Would you consider giving a generous end of year gift so we can continue to provide food and nutrition and other necessities for the sponsored children and their families?

Recovery is slow but steady following the recent earthquake, aftershocks and typhoon. Funds are still going to help victims with food, water, medicines and other essentials, even building materials for homes. Your gifts are a blessing and a great help.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for more than 800 FCM sponsored children in 23 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
