Former Israeli General and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was buried at his Sycamore Ranch in the Negev on Anemone Hill Monday afternoon with family members, senior dignitaries from over 40 countries and several hundred ordinary Israelis attending. Sharon’s body had lain in state at the Knesset over the weekend after he died Saturday afternoon, and a memorial ceremony was held there Monday morning. It was followed by an IDF ceremony at Latrun later in the morning, before the procession made its way to the ranch for a final burial ceremony.
