| Can we have 15 seconds of your time? Fifteen seconds is the time you lose when you are traveling 55 mph and have to stop for a stop sign. Recently my wife and I were seriously injured in an automobile accident. The driver of the vehicle that hit us must have thought that 15 seconds out of her life to stop was just too much. In our vehicle was a 17-month-old baby who, by the grace of God, only had some bruising from her car seat. Those 15 seconds cost my wife and me two weeks in the hospital, months of recovery, 23 broken bones, two punctured lungs, a large bump on the head and lots of bruises. We are lucky to be alive. As you are traveling throughout the year, remember, the lost 15 seconds in your life stopping for that sign is better that the loss of your life, or someone else’s. Please just take just 15 seconds to stop.
