Roswell, NM (January 14, 2014) –U.S. Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement on today’s shooting at Berrendo Middle School in Roswell:
“The entire Roswell community is in my prayers on this sad day, especially the staff member who was injured, the two students who remain in the hospital, and their families. With heavy hearts, New Mexicans across the state are already coming alongside those in Roswell to offer prayers, support, and help. I would like to thank all our first responders, police, medical professionals, teachers, staff, and others who have handled this horrific situation with such courage and professionalism.”
