The official Fars News Agency in Iran has posted a report on its English website, based on documents it says were exposed by U.S. National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden, that a “secret regime” has been ruling in Washington since aliens met with US President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954. The report adds that the aliens turned to the US after an unsuccessful attempt to achieve domination of the planet earth through the Nazi regime in Germany. Conspiracy theories and satirical news from Western websites are often re-posted by government-run information agencies in Iran, leading some analysts to question the possibility of holding serious negotiations with the clerical regime in Teheran.
