A terrorist organization operating in southern Lebanon launched five Katyusha rockets into Israel early Sunday morning in an act Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu termed a “double war crime” because it endangered the lives of civilians on both sides of the border. The identity of the group which fired the rockets from civilian areas, only two of which made it over the border into Israel, was not identified by security officials. The IDF responded with what one witness said was 33 artillery shells launched at the source of the rocket fire.
