I read this the other day and the Lord showed me it is the Devil’s lie, people being deceived: Colorado schools are set to benefit from the first legal retail sales of marijuana in the nation. Some shops will open at 8 a.m. to those 21 and over. The state estimates it will make around 67-million-dollars in the first year in tax revenue. More than 27-million of that is earmarked to build schools. The sales will be taxed at 25-percent on top of the usual state and local sales tax. So now pot will fund Colorado Public Schools? That’s just messed up! The Denver Post announced the other day they now have a full-time Marijuana news editor! The Editor said on NBC news that he was excited and that Colorado is a great state with a legacy of snowboarding and now marijuana and that he is excited about this legacy! Huh? Follow the money.
