From the National Weather Service in Albuquerque:
1154am Feb 5: Snow bands over eastern NM and the Rio Grande Valley are quickly deteriorating conditions over the area. Snowfall rates as high as 0.5″/hr are possible within these bands. Fort Sumner has already picked up just over 1″ in the past couple hours. ABQ metro already seeing snow accumulations on elevated surfaces. That will change as the temperatures become colder and snowfall continues over the area.
