Friends Forever! I consider you all her at the CUP Friends forever! Praise God! A couple that I have been friends with since the late 70’s is Craig and Anita Price of Sidney, Montana where I started in radio. Craig is the first coach I interviewed on radio! Anita and Craig helped take care of me when I got very sick and spent almost a month in the hospital. Here is a note from Anita:

Good Morning Dear Friend Dewey,
Thank you for your beautiful messages – I read them each morning as my devotions.  We are so proud of you and what you are doing!

Craig and I are going to Peoria, AZ for the month of March.,  We are going to spring training!!  Craig retired and so we decided to do things on our “bucket list” which is to watch the White Sox in spring training.  We rented a condo and will meet up with others from Sidney from time to time  – like the Butners and Bob Frank and more.  Anyway, we are going to make plans to see you and Sharon then end of March-on our way back to Sidney.  We will keep in touch and keep you informed – it’s been too long since we’ve seen you.  Get some pictures our of your kids and we will too.

It’s been a long, cold winter!!  We are ready for sunshine and warmth!!  So See You Soon.
God Bless You
Anita

Amen! Sharon and I so look forward to seeing Craig and Anita!!! We love them so much!

Here is another note from a friend that touched my heart, I pray that it touches yours! This is from Kelly Murphy Snelgrove:

I had written this scripture into my journal just this past week…. Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you, you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 “I am the LORD, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 It was great to hear them once again in the messages you delivered! I love His Promises! Thank you for your call this morning! Your kindness, care, concern and your words mean a lot, thank you so much! Today’s Cup was outstanding and brimming over with love for your friends and family! Praying!

Thank you for you kind words Kelly. God Bless you and yours!

Now from another Dear Friend Karen Rowe, who had such a good word for me when I was going to Reserve, NM to preach Sunday!

Good morning,

Jesus knew there would be many things in this world to trouble our hearts, but Jesus tells us, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God and Trust also in Me.”

Love is proof of life.  Love never goes way from a heart.  Death is a human heartache, but there is no death in life.

God owns our soul.  God gives us jobs as caretakers, but it is God who is our All in All.

10 + years ago, I would have said, “IF” anything happens to my parents, I can’t handle it.”  Last year, I found out that God prepared me for that day when I lost my dad.

You see, I didn’t lose my dad, my dad just moved on to the eternal life; and life is real.  Yet, today it takes faith.  I thank God for faith; I believe I got a double portion of faith, but not as much as some.

God is life.  God is love.  God is faith.  God is hope.  God gives us all we need…God gave us life.  God gave us a portion of faith and knowledge; and that is all we need.

We need God.

So when things get tough; and things seem like they are out of our control, just remember God has a plan.  Just because we can’t always understand, doesn’t mean that there is not one.

A great author once stated, It is better to have loved and lost, than not to have loved at all.

Even though is it painful to lose something or someone you hold dear to your heart, at least you got to experience love, even for a little while.  And this my friend is experiencing life with God, who IS love.

Love in Christ,

Karen and Robert Rowe,

Thank you so much Karen! God Bless you

Trust Me one day at a time. This keeps you close to Me, responsive to My will. Trust is not a natural response, especially for those who have been deeply wounded. My Spirit within you is your resident Tutor, helping you in this supernatural endeavor. Yield to His gentle touch; be sensitive to His prompting.

Exert you will to trust Me in all circumstances. Don’t let your need to understand distract you from My Presence. I will equip you to get through his day victoriously, as you live in deep dependence on Me.

Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don’t get tangled up in its worry-webs. Trust Me one day at a time.
