Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had some reassuring words during Sunday’s cabinet meeting for Israelis worried about the ongoing efforts to boycott, divest and sanction Israel, saying such efforts are neither moral or justified. He also had a warning for those promoting sanctions, saying “they cause the Palestinians to become entrenched behind their obstinate positions and push peace farther away…no pressure will cause me to give up Israeli vital interests, first and foremost the security of Israeli citizens.” His comments were widely seen as an indirect response to remarks the day before by US Secretary of State John Kerry, who said at the Munich Security Conference “for Israel there is an increasing delegitimization campaign that has been building up.
