AP is reporting that “more airborne radiation has been detected in southeastern New Mexico from a leak at the nation’s first underground nuclear waste dump.”[i]
KCBD TV from Lubbock, TX is showing a growing concern from the local community about the radiation leak from New Mexico and is asking questions.[ii]
On Monday Mayor Deale Janway of Carlsbad conducted a town hall meeting to update and reassure New Mexico residents that the situation is being taken “extremely seriously.”[iii]
