Written by Bud Shaver: Well, I had my first encounter with the “Environmental Police!” Yeah, an Epidemiologist from the ABQ Environmental Health Department hand delivered a copy of the ABQ Noise Ordinance to me today (out at UNM abortion clinic UNMCRH) and then went on to explain how I was violating it…in the presence of 2 APD officers. I asked him if he was going to arrest me? He said he couldn’t….but he did show me his badge. Thankfully the LEGIT law enforcement officers didn’t push the issue! In fact one officer looked at the images of abortion victims and personally thanked me for displaying them. He said, “If more people saw them it would make all the difference in ending this.” He said, “The world had to witness the victims of the German Holocaust before that ended…He said, “This (pointing to an abortion victim) is our Holocaust.” A REPORT FROM THE FRONT LINES OF THE ABORTION WARS www.prolifewitness.org

I don’t disagree with the pictures in general but I do disagree with them being shown next door to All Faiths Children’s Home interviewing and therapy office on Moon. Haven’t these abused children suffered enough without being exposed to the aborted child images? If we value the aborted babies over the abused babies, aren’t we doing the same thing as the abortionists?
While I wholeheartedly appreciate what the Shavers do (God knows I tell the truth!), I don’t understand how belittling a city environmental employee benefits anything. I’m fairly sure the person didn’t present him or herself as a policeman and clearly the person was being used by those who don’t understand the love inherent is such protest(s), and/or was simply following a directive from above (no matter how misguided it may have been). I’m sure that there are plenty of “LEGIT” policeman who would have not made the positive comments mentioned. Point is, what is gained from discussing arrests, legit v. non-legit, etc.? It is laughable about a noise ordinance being brought out to somehow protect abortions rights, but that seems to have not been the focus here…
