FreindshipDear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ

It already has been a very busy day here at FGGAM!

We pray that you are having a blessed day!

We pray today for Jo Holt, wife of Paul Holt, who has been having trouble with asthma. She has been having a tough time of it lately. Please keep her in your prayers.

Many folks in New Mexico are having problems with allergies. Sharon and I are. It seems better today after the rain last night which we praise God for! Love the smell of rain!It is so very dry in New Mexico,  this past December, January and February have been the third driest winter months in state history.

FGGAM friend Tim Sweet of the Billy The Kid Museum says,”Here is FT. Sumner we would not know rain if we saw it!” LOL LOL

Today I had a lovely talk with FGGAM Board member Wanell Pate. It is a blessing to have friends that you can talk freely with, not afraid to say what is on your mind. To build each other up in Christ! Today I pray over you that in the coming days you will even have more friends. Friends are vital in our walk with Jesus Christ. The ministry of FGGAM was started and is fueled by friends like you.

Proverbs 27:5-6

Better is open rebuke than hidden love.  Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
Just about every morning around 6am I get a text of encouragement from Steve Minor of KAZQ TV 32. I am so very thankful for his love!

I am preparing my sermon for Sunday at Crestview Baptist Church in Albuquerque. Service time is 11am. If you do not have a home church, we hope to see you there. Please pray for my message to be of God and not me.

Love our friends at Crestview Baptist where Pastor Steve and Sue Freeman serve.

Love to make new friends……they are vital!

This is by my new friend Mark Richardson, what a blessing to meet him! This really Preached to me, I pray it does to you also! Amen!

Doing the Right Thing

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” – 1 Peter 3:12 KJV

“Never support an experience which does not have God as its source, and faith in God as its result.” These words serve as a powerful reminder that, as Christians, we are called to walk with God and obey His commandments. But, we live in a world that presents us with countless temptations to stray far from God’s path.

Each new day presents countless opportunities to put God in first place . . . or not. When we honor Him by living according to His commandments, we earn for ourselves the abundance and peace that He promises. But, when we concern ourselves more with pleasing others than with pleasing our Creator, we bring needless suffering upon ourselves and our families. Would you like a time-tested formula for successful living? Here is a formula that is proven and true: Seek God’s approval in every aspect of your life. Does this sound too simple? Perhaps it is simple, but it is also the only way to reap the marvelous riches that God has in store for you.

So today, take every step of your journey with God as your traveling companion. Read His Word and follow His commandments. Support only those activities that further God’s kingdom and your spiritual growth. Be an example of righteous living to your friends, to your neighbors, and to your children. Then, reap the blessings that God has promised to all those who live according to His will and His Word.

“If we have the true love of God in our hearts, we will show it in our lives. We will not have to go up and down the earth proclaiming it. We will show it in everything we say or do.”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Lord, please help me honor you in everything I say and do today. Help me to live my life as if it were the only Bible someone will ever see. Amen

WOW! POWERFUL! Thank you Mark, I pray we hear from you more often! If any of you are interested in writing for FGGAM , please contact me.

Let us now go into Proverbs………..

Lady Wisdom goes out in the street and shouts. At the town center she makes her speech,
In the middle of the traffic she takes her stand.
At the busiest corner she calls out:
“Simpletons! How long will you wallow in ignorance?
Cynics! How long will you feed your cynicism?
Idiots! How long will you refuse to learn?
About face! I can revise your life.
Look, I’m ready to tell you all I know.
As it is, I’ve called, but you’ve turned a deaf ear;
I’ve reached out to you, but you’ve ignored me.
Proverbs 1: 20-24 msg. Bible
So many as distracted with the “Nothing Noise” of the world! Do not get tied up in gossip or things that drag you away from God and His purpose for you! Do not be known as a complainer, keep your eye on Jesus Christ! Are you a complainer? Check with your mentor’s and family……let them tell you….time for a gut check. I have been dealing with a lot of people that complain about everything! It blinds them! It blinds them to God and His way!
Let us share the Wisdom of God with all…..Do you absorb the Wisdom of God each day? Each moment of your life?
Thanks to Darlene Quiring for Posting this:
1. God loves you and has a plan for you!
The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” — a complete life full of purpose (John 10:10).
But here’s the problem:
2. Man is sinful and separated from God.
We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls “sin.” The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God (Romans 6:23).
The good news?
3. God sent His Son to die for your sins!
Jesus died in our place so we could live with Him in eternity.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives!
“Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Jesus is the only way to God.
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).
Not feeling worthy?
Being made worthy is an issue you have had qualms about. You know beyond the shadow of doubt that I am worthy, nonetheless you have difficulty in seeing, much less knowing, that you too are worthy. This matter is established through My shed blood and the word of My testimony. You find it somewhat easy to forgive others of their deeds, but you cannot forgive yourself as I’ve done for you on the cross. Cast aside your misgivings, uncertainties, and doubts. Lay down your adverse thought patterns and trust Me.
2 Corinthians 3:5 (AMP) “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.”  Kevin Robinson
Here are some stories we are covering for you at FGGAM.ORG:
We need the Body of Christ to reach out and expand and be about Our Fathers business……..
Through the research of Ken Houts and his ministry………
An astonishing 98 percent of all church growth in the American Church is church transfer.
Only 2 percent of the growth in the American Church is salvation growth.
Houts writes……..
If the Church was about the Father’s business, the entire church would know the effectiveness of the church in fulfilling its mission.
Why do we consider ourselves faithful to the Lord Jesus and doctrines of the Bible when 98 percent of our growth is the result of church members changing church’s and not the multiplication of disciples?
Church growth and the Kingdom expansion have very little in common. Kingdom expansion is the result of disciples being multiplied. Church growth does not produce Kingdom expansion when church members change church’s.
In all of your busyness, and I know you are very busy, but in all your busyness, you are fulfilling the mission King Jesus gave the Church by only 2 percent.
If any corporation today would fulfill its mission statement by only 2 percent, it would be bankrupt or out of business. I want to suggest to you that the Church is spiritually bankrupt because of the spiritual oppression in the maintenance culture of the church.
People are campers when they are stuck in the maintenance culture.
Here is a camper:
My friend Chuck when I first met him was in love with the Lord, he would do street witnessing………….then………things changed….
He told me his philosophy “Every Sunday the benediction is for peace of Christ to go with us. I believe that is what life is all about. God just wants us to have peace in our lives.”
Then he continued to tell me what he does with his life, “My wife and I play golf at least three times a week. We meet at the course after work and get in nine holes.”
For Chuck, peace is playing golf as much as possible. That is the picture of a camper. They have no Godly vision for their life. They have no purpose beyond feeling good about life. They have stopped having a Godly passion for their life. They are on the side of the path watching others climb the mountain, but they don’t want to climb anymore.
We need more mountain climbers for our Lord……we need more to be about our Father’s business!
I would suggest you get the book, Maximize Your Influence by Ken Houts. Houts began ministering when he was 15 years old!
For God’s Glory Alone in the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ, Dewey, Sharon, Paul, Jo, FGGAM Board and families.
Let us continue to pray for each other and our families.
