Lars cameraHappy Birthday to our son Lars! Lars will graduate in May from Columbia in Chicago!  He is an excellent cinematographer. He is in demand in Chicago for his excellent work. We thank all of you who have prayed over the years for Lars in his journey. One of those that I would like to point out is Pastor Leonard Navarre, who has prayed for Lars for years. This journey that began a few years ago when I dropped Lars off in Chicago and cried like a little baby for miles, has been sustained by prayer. The picture is of Lars filming on the set of a film he is working on, one by the camera and then  he’s right behind the camera in front of the car .I love that picture of his ‘craft at work’ with the car!

Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of my wife Sharon, today Lars. We celebrate birthdays to thank God for the lives of Sharon and Lars and to honor what God has done in their lives.

Here are a few verses that come to mind when it comes to us praying for others…..

Ephesians 6:18

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

1 Timothy 2:1

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,

Colossians 1:9 

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
