The regime of Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan blocked another internet site on Thursday, this time targeting youtube following the appearance on the popular video site of a recording of top security officials discussing possible military operations in Syria. Describing the link as “villainous” Erdogan decried it as another example of what he believes is a widespread “conspiracy” to sabotage the chances for his Islamist faction in upcoming municipal elections.
