More Bad Behavior From Public Servants In New Mexico

new mexico flag 2It seems everyday we wake up to more bad behavior of Public Servants in New Mexico. Public Servants are to be role models. You can argue with me on that all day, but I’m sticking to my guns on that. A New Mexico state worker was arrested yesterday for being passed out in the drivers seat of a state vehicle with a bottle of booze and pills. Courtney Upshall, 36 was booked on DWI charges. Upshall worked for the State Parks Division of the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Dept. What would have happened if she had been driving?

We pray that Courtney get’s the help she needs. We will be praying. I have to question why her need for help was not seen in the interviewing process. The KOB TV report says she has only worked for the state for a few months.

More Bad Behavior:

Then we have Sandavol County NM Treasurer Laura Montoya, an elected official, in a mess up with an ex-boyfriend over phone photo’s. What kind of an example is this for our youth? Why not have the police or an attorney handle this. So her and the  boyfriend get into it at his home and she bites him and hit’s him in the face with a closed fist. There has got to be a better way to handle these situations like having someone else confront the ex-boyfriend and not walking into a dangerous situation. This is how people get severely injured or worse. Montoya faces aggravated battery charges. The Court issued the summons at the request of an Albuquerque Police Officer, who responded to a call from the ex-boyfriend Abdul Kebe.

The Peace of Jesus over all………Please seek help from a Pastor, a Christian Counselor , or Law Enforcement Officials before you put yourself in Harm’s way.

Thank you to KOB TV and the Albuquerque Journal for parts of this information.
