(New York, NY) — New York City Police keeping a close eye on car bomb and other terrorist threats. NYPD has a counter-terrorism unit staffed by one-thousand police officers. The move comes in response to reports that an al-Qaeda funded magazine is urging would-be terrorist to use car bombs to attack New York City targets. The magazine “Inspire” also provides instructions on how to make deadlier bombs than the ones used at last year’s Boston Marathon.
