Putin Places Call To Obama To Discuss Diplomatic Solution To Ukraine Crises

Russian President Vladi­mir Putin called President Obama on Friday to discuss how to pursue a “diplomatic resolution” to the crisis in Ukraine, the White House announced. The White House said Putin called to go over a proposal Secretary of State John Kerry made to his Russian counterpart.
